Pineider is proud to present the 2020 edition of The Great Beauty dubbed "Full Metal Jacket" both as a tribute to Stanley Kubrick's memorable movie and because it alludes to the metallic effect of the pen's surface.
The material used is the celebrated Ultra Resin, famous for being fully shockproof and launched in Los Angeles in February 2019.
This collection is available in 6 different colors and comes in Ballpoint Pen, Rollerball Pen or Fountain Pen with an Iridium Steel Nib (with converter) or 14K Gold Hyperflex Nib ( with piston filling system and free easy filler).  The Nib sizes are Extra Fine, Fine and Medium.

Length: Larger than our Ball Point version.  The Fountain Pen and Roller Ball measure 5 7/8th inches in leangth.
UltraResin Body: For the new Avatar, the material developed in Florence by Pineider is a mother of pearl compound resin in a special formula called UltraResin. This compound is very stiff and its exceptional features makes it widely better than Celluloid, historical material of pen industry. UltraResin is extremely rigid, nearly like metal, incredibly resistant to hits, very close to call it unbreakable, resistant to oils, inks, electricity, to high and low temperatures, to UV rays, to any weathering condition.
GlueLess Technology:  To produce the new Avatar, Pineider has been developed a new assembly technology, called GlueLess.  Thanks to 3D engineering and high precision manufacturing, the pen is assembled without using a single drop of glue. A technological puzzle! Every component precisely fit each other by simple framed parts.
Cap Lock: A thin film inserted to protect the magnet from corrosion and allows a soft touch closure.
Clip: A sophisticated broad quill shaped, solid steel clip.
Band: Finely engraved with our Classic Pineider logo and fun, fun, fun: the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Trim: Palladium plated providing a Silver color (our Palladium is nickel free). 
Packaging: Gorgeous, luxury paper box with classic green Pineider lid. 
Filling: An additional refill is included.
