Salisbury’s Georgia Baby Cup in pewter represents one of the two major Southern design styles of the early 19th century. Patterned after the work of E.J. Johnston of Macon (c. 1851), the modified pear shape design is an early Southern favorite. The delicate beading on the Georgia Baby Cup reflects a sophistication of taste, typical of early Georgia. Engraved, this is a personal and thoughtful gift for the newborn baby or toddler, as well as the parents.
