Steps Required:

Connection with calligrapher:

• the calligrapher provides black and white camera ready art
  
• S&B provides the proof with the coat of arms
  
• Determine the envelope sizes (inner and outer)
• 20 percent overrun is typical for envelope requirements

Selection of Paper:

• All cotton Fibre (soft and fluffy) to match with sample selected
• Colour: Pearl
• 200lb paper for the invitation
• 110lb paper for the response Card
• Duplexing the Paper is possible if desired

Production of Envelopes:

• 120 custom sized inner and outer envelopes (with US Style pointed flap)
• 100 standard sized envelopes for response card return (with US pointed flap)

Create copper plates for engraving:

• two plates for the invitation
• one plate for the response card
• one plate for the address on the response card envelope
• one plate for the return address (use the same as the Save the Date?)

Blind Emboss the Family Crest

Engrave the text:

• Gold text on the 100 invitations
• Non-gold text on the 120 invitation outer envelopes
• Gold text on 100 response cards
• Non-gold text on the 100 response card envelopes

Edges beveled and colored (painted):

• 100 invitations
• 100 response cards

Lining of the interior envelopes with gold tissue

• 120 envelopes

Provide glassine tissue to protect invitations

Calligrapher to complete exterior and interior envelopes
