• There is a heavy lacquer on this piece and thus, you should not expect it to tarnish
• This has a bit of weight to it - it is substantial and quite nice
• We can also produce this in a Platinum finish
• The shaft is solid wood - the black shaft has a more formal look to it than the walnut does - both are beautiful
