Replica of the famous Wolf Cane
Sterling & Burke has been commissioned to produce a replica of the original Storm of the Century Walking Stick.
This is Andre Linoge's (played by: Colm Feore) cane from Craig R. Baxley's television mini-series, Storm of the Century.
The images shown have been taken from snapping images from the television show and from images of the original when it was available for auction.
Measuring approximately: Dimensions: 39 inches in length (appropriate for a dress stick) by 6 inches by 2 inches. (99 cm x 15.25 cm x 5 cm)
The wood portion has a shiny lacquer finish and appears to be stained to look like cherry. There is a swirl pattern cut into the shaft. The wood shows graining similar to hickory.
The original ferruel is unusually long and appears to be produced of the same metal as the handle. The silver coloured metal has an antique silver finish.
The curved handle features a snarling wolf head with an open mouth and exposed teeth.
The crook portion is generous in size and measures approximately 6 inches from tip of the nose to the back of the neck. The width of the face is approximately 2 inches.
We are attempting to reproduce this stick in England.
The precise cost of reproducing this stick has not been determined.
