The many steps involved in creating a Classic Beatrice Bag
Deposit for a Bench-crafted English bridle leather handbag with a suede interior and solid brass hardware with a functional lock. An incredibly versatile design with top handles and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap. The rings are concealed by the handles when not in use. Interior zippered pocket on the back and an open pocket on the front. Carries everything you need in a day but keeps its shape when you only need the essentials for an evening out.
Our classic English Bridle Leather goods are hand-produced, one at a time, by our master craftsmen. Often we are using original patterns from the late 19th century. However, many of our designs are new and require a series of pattern production. After many attempts, the final piece will be proved to be perfect. We create permanent patterns and begin production. Our range of goods continues to be produced with the most traditional methods, often using the same tools as used over 100 years ago.
Please view our images. You will see some of the steps required to produce a proved sample that is perfect. We have completed our proved sample and now we are able to produce goods for our clientele. The London Tan pieces are for a current client. The images make it look darker than it actually is. Please look at the satchel to see the accurate colour.
