Studio Burke machine engraving is equal to what most consider hand engraving.  These samples are used by our machine engraver.  Our machine engraving equipment is an engraving machine that runs without electricity.  Our engraving equipment is operated by hand.  Sterling and Burke Engraving is absolutely beautiful and it is nothing like laser engraving or computer engraving! 

OLD ENGLISH STYLE MONOGRAM INITIALS: As shown below; Old English style of lettering is very traditional and may be considered masculine:

DOUBLE BLOCK STYLE MONOGRAM INITIALS:  As shown below; Double Block Style Lettering works well in many situations.  It is considered Double Block because there are serifs and there are two lines of engraving for each portion of each letter:

 

DOUBLE SCRIPT MONOGRAM STYLE MONOGRAM INITIALS:  As shown below; Double Script Monogram is easy to read, more formal than Block.  It also has two lines of engraving for each portion of each letter.  Interlocking Monogram and Double Script fonts are often chosen for feminine monograms and initials.
