T. J. & J. Smith was established in London in 1839 and began producing high quality leather-bound books and other leather products under the brand name ‘Leathersmith of London’.
In 1928, the company introduced the Azure series of diaries, address and social books featuring distinctive English azure blue paper, gilt edges and soft finished cross-grained Rutland leather.
Made in the UK using traditional British skills, craftsmanship and materials, this range of products earned the company a worldwide reputation for quality.
